01Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a demo or contact us, we collect what you enter or tell us:
- Your name and the name of your store
- Your email address and phone number
- The number of lanes in your store
- Anything else you choose to share in an email, call or message
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the servers that host the Site keep standard logs: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the date and time. We use them to run and secure the Site.
Preferences stored on your device. The Site remembers whether you turned its sound effects on, using your browser's local storage. That setting never leaves your device.
No advertising cookies. The Site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.

04Third-party services and links
Some icons on the Site are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it delivers them. The Site also links to third-party sites and apps, such as AppCard, Instacart, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Mercato and the app stores. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
05Payment card data
The Site does not collect payment card numbers. At the store, card and benefit payments are read by the payment terminal and sent to the processor under the PCI security standards. That processing is covered by the store's agreements, not by this policy.
06How long we keep information
We keep contact and demo information for as long as we need it to respond to you and maintain our business relationship, and then as required for legal, accounting or security purposes. Server logs are kept for a limited period.
07Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing email, by writing to upfrontsoftwarepos@gmail.com. Depending on the state you live in, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; we will honor requests as those laws require. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
08Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
09Children
The Site is meant for businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If the changes are significant, we will post a notice on the Site.
